A native of West Virginia, Sarita Roche completed her B.S. degree at Morris Harvey College in Charleston, West Virginia. She studied voice at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Oberlin, Ohio and completed her graduate studies for her Masters degree at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Massachusetts. She continued her studies with Estelle Leibling and was awarded several fellowships for advanced work with Thelma Votipka (soloist with the Metropolitan Opera twenty-five years) and Joan Dornemann (coach and director at the Metropolitan
Opera) New York City. She has appeared as guest artist with Orchestras throughout the United States and Canada including the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Orchestra, and the Civic Orchestras of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Ms. Roche has appeared in Operas, Recitals and Master Classes throughout the United States, Canada and India.

She was ten years Voice Instructor at Macalester College, ST. Paul, Minnesota. She continues to conduct Voice Workshops and Teaches Private Voice lessons. Her students are studying, performing and teaching in Operas, Music Conservatories and Colleges across the United States and Europe.

A native of West Virginia, Sarita Roche completed her B.S. degree at Morris Harvey College in Charleston, West Virginia. She studied voice at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, berlin, Ohio and completed her graduate studies for her Masters degree at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Massachusetts.
She continued her studies with Estelle Leibling and was awarded several fellowships for advanced work with Thelma Votipka (soloist with the Metropolitan Opera twenty-five years) and Joan Dornemann (coach and director at the Metropolitan Opera) New York city. She has appeared as guest artist with Orchestras throughout the United States and Canada including the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Orchestra, and the Civic Orchestras of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Ms. Roche has appeared in Operas, Recitals and Master Classes throughout the United States, Canada and India.
Ms. Roche retired in Sarasota, Florida this past September 1995 after 15yrs as soloist, core member of the Center Opera (Minnesota Opera); touring coast to coast with the Goldovsky Opera company from New York; 2yrs Colorada Springs Opera; 9yrs Anoka Opera; 5 yrs St. Paul Opera, 3yrs Duluth Opera - 19 yrs Soloist with the St. Agnes Choir (32 Sundays a year performances with the Minnesota Orchestra) 6yrs soloist at House of Hope St. Paul; soloist of Christian Science Church and conducted Choirs in West Virginia, Boston, Massachusetts and Minnesota (winner of ALL STATE TROPHY with High School Choirs).
She was ten years Voice Instructor at Macalester College, ST. Paul, Minnesota. She continues to conduct Voice Workshops and Teaches Private Voice lessons. Her students are studying, performing and teaching in Operas, Music Conservatories and Colleges across the United States and Europe.

In her performance of the Queen of the Night in Mozart's MAGIC FLUTE, the Minneapolis Tribune said, "Miss Roche stunned her audience with an electrifying performance. The pitch, the tone, the musicianship, everything was as close to perfect as you ever heart it in this often-done song."
In New York Magazine Alan Rich said, "One girl in particular inspired me with total awe. Her name is Sarita Roche. She sang Gounod's Jewel Song with absolute brilliance and even a few interpolated cadenzas."
Sarita Roche has been soloist with the Mozart Festival Chamber Orchestra in Pueblo, Colorado and has toured in Austria. Germany with them. Arbeiter Zeitung in Vienna said, "In the last of the three planned performances there were minutes of ovations and calls of "Bravo" for the composer and especially for the leading lady Sarita Roche." ·
She is presently soloist at SL Agnes Catholic Church in SL Paul, Minnesota. She recently performed the lead role in Madame Butterfly, La Traviata. Pagliacci. The Merry Widow and La Boheme.
